Launching exclusively as part of London Craft Week, the exhibition showcases the history and iconic status of both John Smedley and The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust. Under the theme of ‘Britishness’, the exhibition details pivotal historical moments, offering the public a glimpse at rarely-seen-before archive items and introducing John Smedley’s ambassadors: ten scholars from The Queen Elizabeth Trust who have been carefully selected to embody the brand’s values of quality, use of the finest raw materials, and attention to detail, with each scholar being the most passionate of craftspeople. Ranging from luthiers to stonemasons with jewellers, horologists and metalworkers in between, the showcase is diverse yet united in its mutual strive to give British craft a platform.

The exhibition itself is live until March 2020, and revolves across six key themes of Britishness, Design, Quality, Craftsmanship, Colour and Community, with each exhibition changing every eight weeks. John Smedley’s 235 exhibition launch is supported by Remy.
